One phone.
Two volumes.
Your alarm never sinks.
Fall asleep to a podcast, a show, rain on a window. Turn it down as far as you like. The bright line is your alarm; no app can lower it while you sleep.
Try it. Drag the water down. The bright line stays where it is.
The problem
Your phone treats the volume you sleep to and the volume you wake to as one thing.
Lower your show before bed and some apps, casts and late-night updates quietly lower your alarm with it. You find out at 09:40. VolūM keeps the two apart: media is the tide, free to fall to silence; your alarm is a line that cannot sink.
Before you sleep
The bedtime check
Three quiet checks: an alarm is set, it is loud enough to wake you, and your phone will not switch protection off overnight. Anything wrong is fixed before you close your eyes.
While you drift off
The fade
Your show gets quieter over the window you choose, five minutes to two hours, then pauses. Your alarm is not part of the fade. It never is.
When you wake
The morning report
You woke on time. Then the evidence: every time something touched your alarm overnight, and how quickly it was put back.
One night, replayed
Drag through the night.
This is a real night's journal. At 02:14 something lowered the alarm, twice. Watch the line.
VolūM Plus
The same guard, in other lights.
VolūM is free where it matters: protection, the fade, the bedtime check. Plus adds new bioluminescent themes and a longer night journal. Try the themes on this page. The dots in the top bar work everywhere on this site.
Be woken on time, first.
Early access opens in small groups, in the order people joined. Your place on the list is numbered and kept.
