Privacy policy

Your email, handled plainly.

Effective 26 July 2026 · Applies to this website and the early-access list. The app has its own policy at launch. The short version: the app needs no account and its data stays on your phone.

Who is responsible

96WMN is the data controller. VolūM is built for 96WMN by Kryotech Ltd. Write to privacy@96wmn.com for anything on this page. A person reads it.

What we collect

If you join the early-access list: your email address, the time you joined, and your place number. That is the whole record. We do not collect your name, device, location, or anything else, and we do not enrich, profile, or buy data about you.

If you only visit this site, we collect nothing. There is no analytics script on any page.

Why, and on what legal basis

We use your email for one purpose: to tell you about VolūM early access and launch. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), the box you tick when you join. We never use the list for anything else, and we never share or sell it.

Double opt-in

Joining is a two-step act. After you sign up we send one confirmation email; your address only enters the list when you press the button inside it. If you never confirm, the unconfirmed record is deleted within 30 days and no further email is sent.

How long we keep it

Until launch plus 12 months, or until you leave the list, whichever comes first. Every email we send has a working one-click unsubscribe; unsubscribing deletes your record, it does not merely mute it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (and the UK GDPR) you can, at any time and free of charge:

  • See the data we hold about you (access, Art. 15). For the list, that is one row.
  • Correct it (rectification, Art. 16).
  • Delete it (erasure, Art. 17). The unsubscribe link does this, or you can email us.
  • Take it with you (portability, Art. 20).
  • Withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)), which has the same effect as deletion. It does not affect what happened before.
  • Complain to your supervisory authority (Art. 77). In the UK that is the ICO, ico.org.uk; in the EU, your national authority.

Requests go to privacy@96wmn.com. We answer within one month.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. None, not even "essential ones". There are no trackers, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting, and no third-party analytics.

Your browser's local storage is used for two small conveniences that never leave your device and are never read by us: your theme and light/dark choice, and whether you dismissed the no-cookies note. Clearing your browser data removes both.

Where the data lives

The confirmed list is stored with our email delivery provider inside the EU, under a GDPR data-processing agreement. No transfers outside the EU/UK take place.

Children

The list is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly hold data on anyone under 16. If that has happened, tell us and it is deleted.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we tell the list by email before the change takes effect. The current version always lives at this address, with its effective date at the top.
